Dahlonega Extensive Mold Remediation

Our SERVPRO Applied Microbial Remediation Technicians were called upon to fix this nasty mold infestation in a utility area of this home in Dahlonega. The first photo depicts a portion of the black mold infestation that spread along the wall and attacked the studs. We demolished and discarded all the non-salvageable elements of this area after we sealed off the rest of the house (see sheeting on right side of after photo.) Once the area was clean, we continued the remediation by treating the framing with fungi killing chemicals. Our final step was the reconstruction of the exposed walls.
