Water Damage – Cummings Home

Water damage at this Cummings garage ceiling started with a water heater leak from the floor above. The residents discovered the leak when returning home from and outing. Finding the leak so quickly and calling SERVPRO of Forsyth and Dawson Counties created a circumstance where we could restore the damage rather than replace the building materials. We cleaned up the water on the floor above the garage and facilitated repair of the water heater. We used commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to help dry the ceiling and floor. The entire drying process was monitored for moisture content during the drying phase to determine when the building materials had been returned to preloss conditions.
